At Underbean, we believe that true comfort is built from the inside out. Over our 22+ years of operations, we have established one of the most rigorous bean bag manufacturing setups in South India. Based in Aluva, near the industrial corridors of Kalamassery, Kochi, our facility handles every step of production — from fabric sourcing and precision pattern cutting to industrial double stitching and high-density bean filling.
Our raw materials are sourced directly from certified manufacturers who comply with international safety and durability standards. We use premium, heavy-gauge leatherette fabrics that are moisture-wicking and treated to resist cracking, peeling, and fading under hot or humid Indian conditions.
The Underbean Testing Laboratory
Every new batch of fabrics and zippers undergoes comprehensive mechanical testing in our facility. Before approval, our seams are subjected to high-load pressure tests to ensure they will never burst or leak. We test our high-density EPS micro-beans for compression resistance, ensuring they maintain their loft and shape under continuous load. It is this zero-compromise approach that has earned us the trust of over 50,000 customers in Ernakulam and across Kerala.
